Radio Free Silverlake rings in the end of an era this week, flipping the page on its tremendously successful Let’s Independent series. A weekly indie-scene celebration, the showcase has hosted scores of local favorites and buzz-worthy up-and-comers. As you’d expect, it’s going out with a bang, hosting divinely dramatic Automatic Drawing, the addictive and curiously quirky Pizza!, and toe-tappers Broken Remotes. Tuesdays at Boardner’s will never be the same, but don’t fret, friends: the folks at Radio Free Silverlake have promised bigger and better bashes to come.
